Overall objective:
Improvement of the life conditions of the Roma and Egyptian communities via the reconstruction of a Social Center and the construction of new residential units in order to displace Roma and Egyptian families who currently live in uninhabitable buildings
Main activities of the project:
- Reconstruction of the building provided by Burrel Municipality as a Social Center in the suburban area of the city, inhabited mainly by the Roma and Egyptian minorities;
- Equipping the Social Center, by also setting up a medical clinic within its premises;
- Construction of the new residential units for social sheltering of 26 Roma and Egyptian families living in Burrel.
