Overall objective:

To support the social inclusion of children and teenagers with disabilities (6-20 year old) in the city of Fier to access the education system and to encourage their employment

Main activities of the project:

- Equipping with furniture the new Centre of Fier "Horizont" for the day care of the people with disabilities, made available by Fier Municipality;

- Training of the instructors, physiotherapists and logopedists and the social workers of “Horizont” centre employed by the Municipality;

- Training and raising the awareness of the teachers in the Fier schools and the relatives with regard to the right of inclusion in schools of the children with disabilities;

- Basic education, vocational education and education of the children and young people assisted by the Centre, based on the different needs for help and learning skills;

- Awareness and information campaigns for the promotion of the schooling right of the people with disabilities and their social inclusion;

- Monitoring the inclusion in schools of the people with disabilities in the Fieri schools;

 - Support for the employment of the people with disabilities trained in “Horizont” Centre.
