Overall objective:
Revitalisation of the rural economy in Cerrik Municipality through the organisation of a farmer’s association and the promotion of local products (fruit and vegetable) in order to have a more efficient interaction with the market
Main activities of the project:
-Establishment of the Center for collection, processing and marketing of agricultural products (CCPTAP), through the construction of depot of about 500m2 equipped also with an area of 300m² for the storage of the agricultural products;
-Establishment of the farmer’s association with farmers from Cerrik, Gostime, Mollas, Shales and Klos administrative units, who shall supply the Center with their agricultural products. At the end of each year, every member shall take a dividend based on the Center profits;
-Continuous training for the farmers and the staff of the Center to build adequate capacities;
-Promoting local public-private partnership in order to arrange the relations between Cerrik Municipality, the Center and the Farmer’s Association to ensure the right functioning of the Center.
