Sustainable Environments in Protected Areas for better use by Citizens – SEPAC

Financed fund: 38,142,500 All (333.413 Euro equivalent)

Specific objectives:

- To create employment opportunities and improve existing social-cultural services in Permet & Kelcyre Municipalities. Preservation of natural heritage;

- To promote innovative solutions for protected areas and eco -fragile systems, to encourage a clean environment, protected animal and vegetable species and better access and use of them by local citizens.

Main activities:

-Interventions for improvement of existing infrastructure in the thermal water complex of Benja site;

- Construction of a panoramic balcony/observation tower in Kelcyra gorge;

- The preparation and implementation of a comprehensive Management Plan for Benja Thermal waters;

- Production and dissemination of a Promotional video-spot and annual events.
