eldEARLY - Improving the elderly care system in Albania

Specific objectives:
 

- Innovating social care services aimed to elderly population;
 

- Building a Green Counselling Line as the new and first Line dedicated to elderly people;

- Developing of a new professional figure of social operator for elderly, through training and capacity-building.

Main activities:
 

- Albanian elderly updating mapping;
 

- Albanian social operator for elderly people, a new professional figure at national level and its Terms of Reference;

- Social operators and social workers/psychologist training, Terms of Reference of social operators and social workers/psychologist training;

- eldEARLY NATIONAL MECHANISM, terms of reference of the new referral MECHANISM on elderly care;

- eldEARLY PILOT ACTION, terms of reference of domiciliary assistance and Green Counselling Line activated.
