Children’ Innovative and Creative HUB “Thoma Turtulli”

Specific objectives:

- Improve the employability, self-employment, and quality of social life of young people in the Municipality of Korca, and improve the cooperation of local beneficiaries through quadruple helix system;
 

- Increase the technological capacities of school children & adolescents from age 7-18 in the field of in the region of Korca through research, development education, experiential learning, training, and counselling;

- Improve infrastructure of public spaces in the city of Korca to attract school children & adolescents to spend more time in libraries;

- Enforce entrepreneurial skills of school children & adolescents from 7 to 18 years old in the city of Korca;

- Increase the capacity and cooperation of the Municipality between main stakeholders through the introduction of quadruple helix model.

Main activities:

- Develop youth capacity building services for skills development;

- Study isit at Tumo Center in Tirana and at Innovation and Tech Hub in Italy;

- Reconstruction of Thoma Turtulli Library to transform in Innovation and Creative Center for children and youth;

- Training programs for skills development;

- Design of Management Plan for the Innovation and Creative Centre;

- Establishment of a cooperation agreement among key stakeholders- Municipality, Civil Society, etc;

- Training sessions for the staff of the centre about the management.
